How orders are synced and routed on Nexus

See how an order flows from your Shopify store to the right seller, automatically.

When a customer places an order on your store, Nexus takes over. It syncs the order, splits it by seller, and routes each item to the right person. Here is how an order travels from your storefront to fulfillment.

We sync an order once it is created. After that, we do not pull address or fulfillment updates from Shopify, except when your customer edits the order. Manage all your orders from your Nexus dashboard.

  1. An order comes in from Shopify

Your customer places an order on your website. A single order can hold line items from different sellers. Nexus syncs it the moment your customer checks out. No manual sync needed.

  2. You see the full order on your dashboard

Open Orders from your Nexus dashboard and click the order. Nexus has already split it by seller, so you can see which items belong to whom.

  3. Sellers fulfill and ship their part

The seller clicks Fulfill items to ship their portion of the order. Once it ships, they add tracking details. Everyone on the order can see those details.

  4. You stay in sync, live

Open the order on your dashboard again and you will see updates appear live each time a seller acts. Nexus syncs the same information back to Shopify. Your store, your sellers, and Nexus always match.

That is how orders work on Nexus. Every order routes to the right seller on its own, and you keep full visibility from the storefront to delivery.
