Once your order is delivered, the next question is payouts. This guide shows you how Nexus turns a delivered order into a seller commission, and where to find it.
Step 1: Open an unfulfilled order
Go to Orders and open an order that is still unfulfilled.
đĄ Good to know
â
We calculate commissions when an order is delivered. Not when it is created, or when it is fulfilled. This applies to all active sellers in your marketplace.
Step 2: Review the seller's commission
Before you fulfill, check the commission that will apply. Click the seller's name and open the commission section. You will see their current cycle and rate.
đĄ Good to know
Every seller starts at 5% commission on a 15 day cycle. You can change either one anytime from the seller's profile page.
Step 3: Update the commission if needed
If your agreement with the seller is different, update the rate here. In this example, we set it to 10%. Save your changes.
â ď¸ Set the rate before delivery.
Commission is locked in at the rate that applies when the order is delivered. Update it beforehand so the payout calculates correctly.
Step 4: Fulfill the order
Go back to your order. Click Fulfill items and select a pickup location. Both you and the seller can fulfill an order.
Step 5: Mark the order as delivered
Since this order was fulfilled manually, you mark delivery yourself. Open the three dots menu and select Mark as delivered.
Step 6: Check the calculated commission
The moment the order is delivered, Nexus calculates the seller's commission. Go to Payouts from the sidebar, open the seller, and review the latest entry.
That is it. The same thing happens for every line item delivered in an order. Each delivery adds its own commission to the seller's current cycle.
