Apart from listing your form on your website, you can directly add a seller to your dashboard. This is useful when you as a brand are making an entry on behalf of Seller.
Use this guide whenever you want to add a new seller to your marketplace.
Step 1: Go to Sellers dashboard
Click Sellers on left sidebar, on your Nexus dashboard
This is where you can view all the seller accounts connected to your marketplace, pending, active, and inactive.
Step 2: Click "Add a seller" on top right corner
Click Invite new seller at the top right of the Sellers page. This opens the invitation form where you'll enter the seller's details.
Step 3: Enter seller's email address
Click the email input field and type the seller's email address.
Double-check the email before sending, the invite link will be delivered to this address and cannot be reassigned once sent.
⚠️ Warning
Make sure the email address is correct before sending. The invite goes directly to this address. If it's wrong, you'll need to delete the seller entry and send a fresh invite.
Step 4: Send the invite
Click on Send invite.
Nexus sends an invitation email to the address you entered. The seller will receive a link to create their account and complete your onboarding form.
⚠️ Warning
The seller must use the invite link in the email to join. If they sign up directly at nexus.marmeto.org/login, they'll be registered as a Merchant. They will not appear in your Sellers list.
Step 5: Access invited seller
Once the invite is sent, the seller will appear in your seller's dashboard. Seller is automatically activated. They can add products and are ready to receive orders.
You can click their email address to open their profile.
Step 6: Review Seller form
On clicking on seller's profile, you can view Seller's details. This is where you'll track their onboarding progress and review the information they submit.
📌 Note
Once you add a seller, they will be activated. You can deactivate or delete them.
