When you install Nexus, your Shopify vendor profiles come in automatically. But they're not active yet. You need to activate each seller before they can start receiving orders on your marketplace.
Use this guide after your Shopify products have synced to Nexus.
📌 Vendor profiles are synced along with products on Install.
Make sure, you have your installed Nexus app from Shopify app store.
1. Go to Sellers
Click Sellers in the left sidebar. You'll see all your seller profiles listed here.
Look for sellers marked with a Needs review status. These are the ones that need to be activated.
📌 Seller's can't receive orders if they are not activated
These profiles were created automatically from your Shopify. They're linked to your products but cannot receive orders until you add their email.
2. Select the seller you want to activate
Click on any seller with a Needs review status and open their profile.
3. Add the seller's email address
On the seller profile page, you'll see the email field is empty. Click on it and enter the seller's email address.
⚠️ Seller email's cannot be edited
Make sure the email address is correct before activating any seller as Seller emails cannot be updated.
4. Click save to send the invite
Once their email is added, click save. Nexus will send an invite email to the seller right away. The seller is immediately active.
📌 Seller's will start receiving orders
The seller does not need to accept the invite before they can receive orders. They are active as soon as you click Global save.
That's it. Your seller is now active and ready to receive orders. Your marketplace is ready to route orders to them.
Repeat this for all sellers on your list. You've activated your first seller on Nexus. They're ready to list products and start fulfilling orders.
