There are two ways to off-board a seller on Nexus. You can deactivate them if you want to stop routing orders to them temporarily. Or you can delete them permanently if they are no longer part of your marketplace.
Use this guide whenever you need to remove a seller from your marketplace.
⚠️ Before you deactivate
Make sure the seller has no open orders and their payouts have been cleared. Open orders need to be cancelled manually before you proceed. Head to Orders to check their active orders and to Payouts to confirm nothing is pending.
Step 1: Open the seller's profile
Click Sellers in the left sidebar. Click on the seller's name to open their profile.
Step 2: Deactivate the seller
Click the Deactivate button at the top right of their profile page. The seller is now deactivated. No new orders will be routed to them.
📌 Note
Deactivation is not permanent. You can reactivate this seller anytime from the same page. Once reactivated, they will start receiving orders and all their products will go live on Nexus automatically.
Step 3: Delete the seller
If you want to permanently remove this seller, scroll to the bottom of their profile page. Click Delete.
⚠️ Warning
Deleting a seller is permanent. It cannot be undone. All their products will be removed from Nexus and from your Shopify store. Only delete a seller if you are certain they will not return to your marketplace.
Step 4: Confirm deletion
A confirmation prompt will appear. Click Remove to confirm. The seller and all their associated products are now permanently deleted.
Your seller has been removed. Your other sellers and products are not affected.
